A Contact Management System (CMS)/(ConMan in our case) is an integrated office solution that allows organizations and individuals to record relationships and interactions with customers and suppliers. This information includes all emails, documents, jobs, faxes, calendar and more. This type of solution is gaining more and more popularity as companies and Institutions want to be able to control all these information from a single integrated application. The Advanced Information Technology Institute-Ghana-India Kofi Annan Center of Excellence in ICT (AITI-KACE) therefore embarks on a ConMan project to help the center keep record relationships and interactions with its clients. Project is going on with one of the latest web 2.0 technologies (Extjs).

It has shown up that doctype, if present, triggers various bugs in Internet Explorer (all versions) resulting in unpredictable weird rendering problems. Therefore, specifying a doctype is not recommended anymore.
